SHIVRAJ: How did you get into cardistry or where did you see it first?

ANDREI: I saw a hotshot vs cobra cut thread in some old forums. As a 12 year old kid, that got my attention!

SHIVRAJ: How would you define 'cardistry' in your own words?

ANDREICards dancing in the hands. Watch...*demonstrates* (works better in real life)

SHIVRAJ: Who/What inspires you the most and why?

ANDREIMy dad who performed as an acrobat his whole life as well as movies, film-making, cinematography, music, and my crazy talented friends.

SHIVRAJ: What is your creative process of making moves?

ANDREISometimes I have a thought in my head but mostly I derp around until an accident happens, then I try to repeat it.

SHIVRAJ: How do you overcome a 'Creative Block'?

ANDREILeave the cards for a couple days and come back later. Repeat as necessary.

SHIVRAJ: Describe your style in one word/sentence.

ANDREIDiverse, larger than life, sound effects - action!

SHIVRAJ: What role does the art play in your life or in simple words why do you do it?

ANDREICardistry has done so much for me ever since I was a little kid. I was fortunate enough to travel the world, make some amazing friends, and I got to brighten other people's days by showing them how to shuffle cards. Tough to beat that doing anything else.

SHIVRAJ: How do you think you can help in improving the field of cardistry?

ANDREIHopefully I've expanded the art beyond the "magic-sphere" to lay people in my own small way.

SHIVRAJ: What is your favourite move by you or by someone else? What do you like about it?

ANDREIDefinitely Andrew Avila's Prism. It looks like magic.

SHIVRAJ: Which is your favourite cardistry video of all time?

ANDREI: Bone Ho with Black Tiger Deck.

SHIVRAJ: What do you think about the concept 'Cardestroy'?

ANDREII hate you Shivraj. It's amazing, wish I had thought of doing it.

SHIVRAJ: You are one of the very few cardists that have been able to earn their living through cardistry. How did you start and how has it been for you so far?

ANDREIDepends what we define as "living through cardistry". Do playing card sales count? What about consulting work? Commercial work? Filming/directing/editing videos? Selling products? Instagram/YouTube famous? Performing on stage/close up?

Step one, define what you mean and you'll have a better starting point. Step two - diversify as much as possible. Step three - be persistent, keep reinventing yourself if necessary, and be nice to others. Step four - still trying to figure it out, just repeating what Chris Kenner, Jonathan Bayme, Larry Fong and Homer Liwag told me.

SHIVRAJ: What genre of music do you mostly listen to?

ANDREISomething I can dance to rather than a deep lyrical meaning.

SHIVRAJ: What do you do other than cardistry?

ANDREII help run day to day operations at Theory11 which ranges from directing, filming, editing, producing, consulting, social media management, marketing, photography, web-shows, and everything else associated with running an online business...

SHIVRAJ: What are you further planning to do in your life?

ANDREII've always wanted to try Cardistry as a means of physical therapy for those with arthritis or lack of motor function. I think there's something there that hasn't been explored. Sort of like David Copperfield's "Project Magic" meets Cardistry.

SHIVRAJ: Any contest/contests you've participated in/won?

ANDREINo I suck.

SHIVRAJ: Any advice for the community?

ANDREIKeep staying awesome and being nice to each other. We're going in the right direction.

SHIVRAJ: Any last thoughts? (If any)

ANDREII have no idea what I'm doing so don't listen to me or anyone else, create your own path.

SHIVRAJ: Thanks a lot for your time! Have a nice day, cheers!
